Elissa Harbuck began her dance career as a child here in Atlanta, where she studied ballet, tap, acrobatics and jazz and dance competitively. In college, she was a varsity cheerleader at Auburn University, where she majored in Child Development. Elissa’s love for children and passion for performing arts led her to form the dance program at a local school, where she taught dance lessons to children ages 2 to 18 for 11 years. Elissa has choreographed solos and group numbers over the years, with her students earning 1st place at Showstopper Dance Competition over the past three years. Elissa has trained students individually as they have appeared in music videos and performed in musicals at the Fox Theatre. She is thrilled to be partnering with the Dance It Off family to help their youngest dancers in the Boys Mini Troupe as well as teaching individual and small group lessons to children.
