Beginning Tap, Tap 1 My love of tap started when I was 3 years old and accompanied my older cousin to all of her classes. I was too young to actually take the class so instead danced by myself in the corner of the studio. When I realized that the teacher was ignoring me, I moved up next to him and when he saw I was keeping up he broke his studio rule and allowed me to join. I come from Hawaii where I was on scholarship at the Academy of Theatre Arts.
